Purpose
Estimate boards for a rectangular deck surface. It accounts for actual face width and gaps, then applies a waste allowance. It does not optimize cuts or calculate framing.
The tool is intended to work without accounts. In this starter version, calculations run in the browser and there is no form-submission backend.
